As a lefty I can clarify that when I started volleyball in middle school by the time I hit my third season I was the best person on the team, that might also be because we had a bunch of mr. Crocs and PJ's on our team.

@@kindabaddy i can get like 20", most the time I don't get that high though tbh. I gained like 6 or 7 inches since this comment though. And thats was my max. My typical jump used to be like 6 or 8 inches total cuz I didn't really know what I was doing. Doing a lot better than I was, still not terrific though

i never- ever- wear the right attire to a practice- well- except the shoes. i refuse to wear the knee pads i'm sorry i just hate them- also as a lefty i can say i've confused many a setters and then confused passers... it's a fun time if i ever actually get a set instead of literally everybody else

Unrelated, but I had high school tryouts today and my libero (also short duh) friend was asking me how to do a spike approach bc she wanted to learn and I tried showing her (I'm a setter idk why she asked me, maybe my occasional spikes are just that fire) and when she tried she jumped three inches off the ground 😳😳 IT WAS IN FRONT OF OUR COACH TOO LMFAMFLMAFLMAFMAISJF
