BROOOO the power increase is so insane. im so hyped for the next few eps and to see some new followers!!!! in terms of magic, des+res is fun, but the illusion paralysis spell is beeaaautiful.
And as the Elder Scrolls predicted, the increase in power was, and I quote the scrolls here "pretty lit fam fr, giving off main character energy" (keep in mind that you currently have only 1/5 points in 1-handed base damage, this could easily be 300+ damage per hit!) Thanks for the nice episode, I feel like the pacing will be quite a lot snappier than before!

this episode is just... *chefs kiss* It made me so happy and excited, that I promptly started my own Skyrim playthrough AGAIN :D :D I've been watching since the beginning of the mistfire series if not even longer and you're such a joy!!!! Huge congrats on this amazing series!!! One little tip from my side (without to much spoilers):you might wanna look out for a special weapon with the "Fiery Soultrap" enchantment ;) especially if you have to recharge your weapons so often
In response to the question regarding enchanting gear for spell cost reduction: Since there's 8 slots for the enchantments (2 per head, chest, ring & necklace) and there's 5 schools of magic, you could enchant to account for frequency of casting per school. I'd personally say Destruction gets 2 enchantment slots since it's the most frequently cast to do its job; Restoration 2 as well since always being able to afford your heals is great value. Then you can pick one of the remaining three schools to also get 2 slots, based off of personal taste, and the last two can coast by with just one cost reduction enchantment. This all is going off of the assumption that everything enchanted is treated as a synergistic set.
Hey Dark! You can also get the perk "Soul siphon" in the enchanting tree, which let´s you recharge the weapon with deathblows on creatures! Awesome powerups all the way! Alduin stands no chance, if you keep going this way! XD

When it comes to what magic combination you should do, I think restoration would be best as It's perks form a good foundation for any mages. Destruction would also be good since it's frost fire and shock buffing perks work with enchantments as well. Elemental cloak spells can help rack up damage when you're right in the face of a beefy enemy. You could also go into alteration and get the spell absorption perk Also, YEEEAAHH FINALLY THE LAST WHIRLWIND SPRINT WORD LETS GO BABY
How about an argonian companion? Like Derkeethus from Darkwater Crossing after his quest? Or - oh, wait - he's the ONLY argonian companion available...
