Great review, you mentioned that it takes pretty long (more then 1day) to charge 1 Mavic battery (due to the Amp output). You mentioned that Voltaic was working on it, did it got solved, I mean did you guys found a solution - does it charge the battery quicker now ? Or does it still take 1 day to charge 1 Mavic battery ? please see 1:34 "the Mavic requires a lot of Amps, that's what we try to solve with the Voltaic company"
Best I would refer you to Voltaic blog ;) blog.voltaicsystems.com/powering-the-dji-phantom-drone-from-solar-power/ For my setup concerning the Mavic (which unfortunately died a few years ago in the Arctic Circle), you can see ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GmS1w96yBys.html
@@GuillaumeHullin no worries about "reacting late" thankyou. I got in touch with Voltaic. Too bad hearing your drone died... Still hope you had a great journey
pa modou Sawaneh thanks :) my pack is still the same, working well. The only thing I would change is the battery pack, would take Omni 13. But the panels are great.
+Tom Miller yep it's expensive but that's the only system I found in order to charge the DJI Mavic Pro :) actually it's 380 USD because I had to buy one extra V72 battery ahahaha
+Tom Miller nope for 2 reasons. One because of the battery, the one you linked would need an extra solar controller and battery in order to store the energy (I need to plan with bad weather too). And also the Mavic Pro charger require 6A 12V stable. That's why I got 2 batteries, one battery deliver 3.5A 12V. Main point being that it's a kit that work well together :)
I haven’t used in the last year unfortunately (lack of time) but I’ll go back out soon and I might bring it along. I don’t see any reason why it would not work... excluding the battery pack which could get old.
