Frame won't rust. It's aluminum. Voltbike states that your OK in downpours and such. We just got the older gen (not V2) Yukon 750 20" for myself and the Step-thru for my wife. We love em! Hope you post more on your V2!
I would wrap a few strands of white duct tape around that gap to avoid water damage, which could void your warranty. Alterations will also void the warranty.

I did make the changes, but to be honest, it really didn't seem to make any difference so I put it back to default. Also, with all the issues recently with e-bike batteries exploding, I decided not to mess around and leave it at default, where I know it is working the way it was intended.
I got a Yukon V2 and a Elegant V2 for my wife and my only complaint is the battery indicator only show increments of 100%,80%,60%40%,20% and 0! I like to know if others Yukon V2 and Elegant V2 owners out there have this same problem?
Yes, same thing here. I agree with you, it would be much better if it showed the power decrease by single percentages rather than 20%, 40%, 60%, etc. It really irritates me when I'm out for a bike ride and it drops 20% at a time.
I just got a yukon v2 and noticed when you turn the throttle all the way the display shows its pulling 900~ watts 😮 this is suppose to be a 750watt peak motor is that normal ? Is thr display incorrect or is it actually drawing that much power ? Last thing I want is to damage it.
That sounds about right, but if you were concerned, I would suggest writing to Voltbike tech support, they could likely answer your question better than I could. Report back when you get an answer 👍
I am debating between V2 with 17.5a battery and V1 with 19.2ah battery. I wonder how much extra range the bigger battery would give. Otherwise the v2 looks great.
