"For millennia, the evil Galra Empire has plagued the universe by destroying other civilizations and enslaving various races. The only known threat strong enough against the empire's power and plans is the legendary "Defender of the Universe" Voltron, a giant robot warrior piloted by 5 people known as the Paladins. At the crux of the war that ended with the destruction of planet Altea, Voltron was separated by King Alfor of Altea in order to protect Voltron from falling into the Galran Emperor Zarkon's possession. King Alfor bonded it's energies to his daughter Allura's life force and sent them across the universe to different locations until the time for the next generation of Paladins to appear and pilot Voltron arrived. In the present, the Galra Empire's path of conquest and search for Voltron has led them to Earth's solar system (kinda not really). A group of teen pilots working for The Garrison, a space exploration program, Lance, Pidge, and Hunk, see a crashing alien ship, and upon further investigation, find the Garrison dropout Keith and the long missing Garrison teacher Shiro. Shiro, now equipped with a Galran robotic arm, white hair, and amnesia, reveals the Galra threat, and the 5 immediately get swept up into the Galran War. Eventually they meet Princess Allura, become the next Paladins, and reunite to form Voltron and combat Emperor Zarkon's nefarious schemes, with the hopes of ultimately defeating the entire Galra Empire. Of course, this is easier said than done as galactic politics, other rebel forces, mysterious aliens, and a complicated Galran prince get in the way." The show is really great and cute and sad and you will love ALL THE CHARACTERS. I know I usually am not even INTO scifi, but this show was so good I had no CHOICE but to like it.

I'm just going to say that I have never ever liked any transformers or any shows with horrible female characters as leads. The princess in this show really knows how to get stuff done. She's pretty much the one in charge over all and then Shiro is the one in charge of Voltron. She is definitely no princess peach or princess form the 80's. And the pilates.... well I'm not going to spoil anything ;)

+dotdot3polkadots I just watched the 1st episode . It was much better than I expected . It had is pro's: hasn't sullied the name of the 80s cartoon ( but it was the 80s that's hard ) seems to have the same animation as legend of korra and avatar. all the designs are great the writing was great at times and ok at others classic red vs blue XD little green guy was awesome the princesse was kick*** she was know ones infatuation that old guy was hilarious. but as far as cons : nicktoon....., NICKTOONS ,the same company that couldn't hold on to marvel or even air Zevo Three in the right order and is responsable for the canselation of IZ and the airing of wild grinders did a better version of voltron than Netflix . Villain with no couse .(power doesn't count ) didnt start from the begging. hunk and I think the green ones name use to be be Vince are both mad out to be the week ones or less skilled ones . Three athletic builds = tougher, more professional. But the absolute most annoying thing that I won't soon forget . they made hunk the fat ,dumb, over eating, gross ureliable one . I get so tired of that trope and I can't wait to see the end of it . I can't say I can tell everything about this show but it's probably to good FOR THAT . but there its hope it's all ready good I just want the plot to get more complicated . as for hunk maybe his fat stereo type will be like amathyst and Stevens fat sterotype / Dr Mihashwarens tiger Mom stereo type as far as being built up and torn down from fat clown to deep character ,just capable as his teammates who just happens to be on the heavy side and enjoys a good meal . Honestly I want all there weaknesses past put out there just so that they can all become stronger teams . But second most important I'm sold first most iportant Madeon is awesome now that I've herd the theme this song is even more perfect and is steven universe ( gravity falls or fairy tail ) "Years of war " by Porter Robinson on your. to do list ? :) ramble ends here .
