You know what would be cool? An extra accessory set for this! It could include extra wings from season 2, an adapter for the shield, and additional weapons and adapters.
And also the bigger sword that they use to slice Morvok's ship in half, the even bigger sword they use to kill Zarkon the first time, and the shoulder gun they use to take out an entire fleet of galra

I didn't know that it would recognize which lions weren't plugged in! Wish i had when i did my review. We did have a hilarious moment caught on tape though.

Guts Agreed. Playmates has obviously done their homework and improved past designs. LOVE how they did the arm lions where you could tuck the legs into the body.
Good video, Emgo. Got all of the lions and you actually can store the Yellow Lion's disc launcher in voltron form. You can attach it as if Yellow was in Lion form, but you may have to move the sliding armor piece up a bit to attach it, and the launcher may block off the top part of his head, but it works. As you would say, "It's a thing. It's a thing that you can do". Just thought I put it out there.
Oh, Megatron and Shockwave. Six episodes in the voltron series and you just can't control him. Or even just the lions for that matter. Even if you do control them, it would be only a matter of time before they turned on you. Emgo, great ending parts to each Voltron review. When I first saw the Yellow Lion review, I did not expect you to have transformers involved, but still, HILARIOUS.
The blue looks really nice lit up on his chest. It would be nice if they could make it glow regularly or be painted as brightly to look like it glowing.
Zeke Nunn they should make a movie with voltron /megazords/& Transzor z fight together alongside each other against giant monsters and alien robots for an epic battle that could go down in history as the most action packed all day bang for your buck fight scenes
i know i left some comments,i just wanted to say that i completed my voltron figure yesterday it took me about a month and a couple of weeks and i love it,i posted some pictures on twitter yesterday if you want to have a look emgo.
hey emgo thanks for showing how to separate the arms and you can make the shield by wrapping an piece of cardboard around the black lion connectors then cut the cardboard to fit wrap scotch tape around the cardboard then slide the wings into the newly made holder turn green lions head then insert holder with the wings inside into mouth an you have your shield also the original blazing sword looks an works great with voltron
Since we got news of the smaller scale combining Voltron, I am gonna skip out on this set for now. But I can definitely admire all of the engineering that went into this set, and just how cool it is.
I love this show's version of Voltron more than any other, but the toy version loses me in a few places... The waist and thick torso look a little odd with the empty space around the legs. The arms also seem veeery long, the hands are down at the knees! I think they should of put the connector a little lower on the arms so it gave Voltron some stronger shoulders and more show-like appearance. Would love to see a 'deluxe' metallic high quality, show accurate version release, but I know that will never happen...

the paint at least is way more than we get on transformers. and if we can get a group like dr woo or some other 3rd party to make a blade extender, the yellow shoulder gun, and wings that replace the one he comes with with ones that form the shield and splays out like gundum wings.
Mines doesn't know when the blue and yellow lions are attached. I have all the pieces attached and he still keeps saying that he's missing the blue lion and yellow lion
excellent.. will you be getting Icarus Toys Voltron? It looks very exciting. I am confused if I should get all these or the Icarus version. hmm thinking thinking.. Is there anyone out here who owns both versions?
