Non-Denouement is the new arc precision frame bow from salvations edge. It's no ordinary bow though. It's the first time we have seen voltshot on a bow and it's very good! In this video I talk about the applications, what to do with it, and how it can even hang in high end content. For PvP, it can be faster and more consistent than hush. It also has some other rolls to mess around with. Voltshot though, that is what you need.

Back in Plunder when they added Voltshot I thought to myself "woaw if they ever add a bow with Voltshot I would never take it off". Then I realized I already had 40k kills on Trinity Ghoul lol true to my word. This bow will be insane.

I was so sure the bow from the next season would have it, season of the Seraph's craftable bow Tripwire Cannary. Was geniunely quite sad when it didn't and thought that was confirmation it'd never be on a bow. Now put yourself in my shoes, I'm a solo player and I've never raided so I can't even get this :

@@Slazarynyou can get it. You don't wanna go though with the activity Bungie wants you to run to get it, and that's totally fine. You have a choice, either try LFG or find new friends with similar mindsets to run raids with or wait till they put volshot in another boe few seasons down the line

Psst. Hey Coolguy, I've got a secret for ya. Crown of Tempests can actually extend the duration of *any* roaming super on Arc ability/Jolt kills. Which means it can effectively _double the duration of Song of Flame._ I know the class items are getting all the hype right now, but definitely do _not_ sleep on using CoT with Prismatic. It's not perfect, there are a couple anti-synergies, but it's well worth experimenting with.

The first roll of this bow that I got was Archer Temp / Archer's Gambit I knew this was gonna be a fun bow if the devs put those two - *and then my second roll was impulse amplifier / voltshot" (I used up all my luck for the next year) It really does feel like the power of lightning in your hands; it's amazing. Also the raid heavy-burst solar pulse rifle is incredible - also another "S+ tier" gun imo.

The 2 burst pulse with fire fly and incandescent is special too. Has no recoil and one or 2 shots, most anything in the game. It's gravlances solar cousin.

It's a toss up for that statement Bec w trinity u can accidentally use the your shot you just build up or can be used for quick succession for a little draw, but w this u have to know what exactly you want to hit w the target and say if u do a little draw and it hits the wall or ground it doesn't matter u still have it

The adept specifically is very good for PvP because of Adept Draw Time. It lets you drop the draw time down to 540 ms, only 40 more than a lightweight bow. Pre Astyanax can do this as well, but non denouement is a raid weapon, meaning that the sting and fletching can be customized. Astyanax needs a 4/5 roll for this, while Denouement only needs a 3/5 and can drop with 3 perks per column.

The passive reload boost from Impulse Amplifier gives you a faster TTK in PvP. With this in mind, The Adept version is actually capable of getting below a 0.80 TTK with the origin trait.

Its the son of Trinity Ghoul, but with 2 less arrows and the catalyst bonus, but adds jolt which does ALOT for damage output. Being legendary makes it even better to run your favorite exotic primary/heavy

Idk bows feels great in pve but in pvp. After the nerf I feel like bungie want you to play passive and with your team and punish people who wanna use bows more of being aggressive

Aint gonna lie, sounds like a "weaker" trinity. Im using the word "weaker" broadly. Its slower than tinity, it doesnt hit as hard as trinity, but its also a legendary... i dont expect it to be as good as. I guess it makes sense. They have zoulies bane (sunshot) and elsies rifle (gravaton) i guess?

I have been using this for two days and got over 2000 kills on it. I can confidently tell you that volt shot is better than lightning rod simply because you can actually jolt higher health targets instead of falling off a cliff when you don’t have the perk proc’d.

In PvP there is no reason to go for this Bow, Precision Bows are dead there especially at a competative level as an actual primary (also Pre Astynax can roll Archer + Gambit). Lighweight is king now especially Tripwire Canary with Under Over, still dont understand why Bows were nerfed, they alone were not a problem in PvP. They used to be good counters against all the healing, hnade, hrift, and overshield but now its defeated by all of those things even with two headshots (depending on oveeshield level). Why would I ever use a slower precision frame for two headshots instead of a lightweight? Maybe if it had Over Under and Archers Gambit but then its taking more risk to hipfire your first shot and you loose engagement versatility which is what makes bows awesome.

I feel like it’s criminal to not even mentions Impulse Amp. In PvE, this is a solid boost to your fire rate without any activations. It’s like explosive payload in that sense. Not as strong as some other perks, but it’s always there. In PvP, the reload is nice but the real gem is the improvement to accuracy at range. After the changes to bow travel time, this makes it effectively hitscan. And lower drawn (think 75% drawn) arrows are much more consistent - something very valuable in PvP. It’s a solid perk and worth considering for both PvE and PvP in my opinion. It’s what made Wolftone Draw so good when it released.

On top of that: the reload speed bonus maxes knocking speed of the next arrow. Reloader mods do nothing to improve this, so it frees up room on your gauntlets for more dexterity mods or mods for your secondary.

ive been using this in pvp with opening shot and desperate measures, and maximizing for accuracy you can get 99 accuracy and 100 aim assist. it requires you to be a bit smarter about peeking and stuff but it feels so good as a bow
