@kanon2519
@kanon2519 5 лет назад
Because total perimeter is 68 so AB+24+24= 68 therefore , AB=20

Why did you take 20 as your perimeter when it was 68 (the first question) ??
@parijat8166
@parijat8166 5 лет назад
Total perimeter = arc length + (2 x radius). Perimeter refers to the entire boundary. He used 20 as the ARC LENGTH, which is 68 - (24 + 24) --> 68 - 48 --> 20

Perimeter mean you add everything. So 24+24=48, 68-48=20

How did u get 3.18 as radius
@qwertstrewq
@qwertstrewq 8 месяцев назад
Circumference = 20 Formula of circum = 2piR Make R the subject, and place 2pi as the denominator of 20 20/2pi = 3.18 You might have to do it step by step cuz if you divide 2 and pi together and not put it in brackets, it becomes 31.4.

@andrewchambers2941
@andrewchambers2941 6 лет назад
follow through from the start of the video - the total perimeter is 68. The radius is 24. 68 - 24 -24 = 20.

20 - 8 = 12 because 8 was the height of the cup/ frustum. We needed the height of the smaller cone.
