I started using your lashes and then finally got your tweezers! I’m feeling really confident in my work even though I’m a fairly new lash artist. Your videos have helped me so much! I even started using Dark Matter because of you! Can you please do a video of what you’re using to cleanse your lashes before using Dark Matter? I know that we can no longer use products containing alcohol or glycerin to prep lashes because it will affect retention. Also, what do you recommend your clients to use at home to wash their mink lashes? Thank you!

Hi Kins! Do you feel that not counting the lashes might give one eye a fuller look? I don’t count mine either but I have had some comments from other lash techs about this. I don’t feel it’s necessary as I do that same as you do I check the natural lash FIRST. Thank you.

Great video! What are you using to prep the lashes before using dark matter? Ruthie belle said that the prolong cleanser doesn’t react well with DM due to alcohol content. We were also told not to use primers. I feel like everyone is saying what NOT to use but I’m at a loss for what TO use. I was ready to give up on DM because of all the rules and shipping delays but I have noticed a significant boost in retention so I’d like to continue.
