does anyone else get that happy feeling when the chorus hits? Especially towards the end Update 7 years later Was extremely depressed at this time and really going through it. This song gave me the serotonin that I was missing.
J. Cobb but in other news Diego has recently passed away.... R.I.P. no details has been said how he did but it’s sad that he is taken from us too soon ❤️
this song is amazing !! . At the funeral of my brother this song was heard , was the favourite of my brother :'( if you could see this video you be very happy R.I.P ALAN (brother)
Okay not gonna lie, its near the end of 2019, I've spend my night alone on Acid in my room and been listening to this song on repeat. It gives such an undescribable feeling, can't believe anyone could write such a masterpiece..
this song makes me chills always, still remember when we used to go to a hill with my group of friends in the middle of the night , drink beer, smoke a joint and listen to this , a fuckin masterpiece, greetings from Argentina, u make me happy for a long time
They have only 2 vocalists. The third guy (Hance Alligood from Woe, Is Me) came in for this song because fans demanded they play it live. The original singer for the clean parts (their old guitarist) left the band shortly after this album was recorded. Bringing you up to speed :)
@Deimonk you are joking right?? assuming your ears are bad a simple google search on similar artists will tell you this is a djent band, they were even the bigger influence for bands like Northlane as they said
@@NightElveee Man, just a simple google search on similar artists will tell you that there is not a single "djent" artist endorsing this term, every single of them refers to their music style as metalcore, progressive metalcore, progressive metal etc...
I feel the album VIA was Diegos magnum opus, that project was such a game changer for the guitar community, he literally takes you through an emotional roller coaster, the guitar work speaks volumes no pun intended, RIP Diego , he left his mark! 🤟
@@pancakerepairman Agree but it’s more of “we lost Volumes” in general. it’s unfathomable how the band is @ it’s peak in popularity considering each album release is a new rock bottom! Until the end and pixelate are absolute bangers tho.
3 months until 2022 still jammin this song! I remember hearing it the first time in jr high. Still get a crazy feeling filled with nostalgia and a love for an easier time. Feels like everything is gonna be ok when I hear this song.
Best djent album ever made. Biggest game changer in the industry. Vocals and guitar, drums. Perfect sync. If I could get another album like this. It would bring tears to my eyes.
This is the first track i heard from Volumes back in 2013 or 14.. And as i listened to again years later.. That chorus still produces the same kind of lonely feeling..
It was Hance Alligood from Woe, Is Me but they just happened to be on tour with him at the time this video was filmed. I don't believe the vocals that are playing are his. It's the album version, and I'm trying to find out who sings the chorus as well.
This is a song that’ll resurface for me and then I’ll play it on repeat for a week straight. Just when you think it’s hitting as hard as it can….boom! Your stank face starts melting
R.I.P. Diego ❤️ I remember the first time I saw these guys open for Chelsea Grin and Attila and they instantly had the crowd bouncing up and down man 🤘🏻
I listen to this song like it’s new. I’m a new person everyday and I’m happy to take this album with me. Sounds even better in 2023 produced speaker system 🔥🔥
It’s hard to believe this was 8 years ago. I was at the Masquerade in Atlanta when this was filmed with Hance from WIM on vocals. If I remember correctly it was OM&M headlining with WIM, and Volumes opening for them. Definitely a great show!
Guys. The video is featuring Hance from Woe, Is Me...The person actually singing this song is their guitarist. Hance just did it on a recent tour. Thumbs up so everyone knows what's really up.
Been listening to them since I was 16. I met Diego in London after show a few years before he passed Away. We hanged out smoke some weed and talk about ibanez guitars and music. Rest in peace diego
Well, I was at this show in Toronto Canada, and I can guarantee that the man doing the cleans THERE was the 1 of 2 singers for Woe is Me! cuz after Texas in July, sure enough, the guy doing the cleans came out, and preformed for Woe, is Me.
This is my #1 favorite band of all time!!! This band (especially how the drummer Nick Ursich does his beats) help's with my depression. It's just something about the beat and the overall melody of their songs. I would of committed suicide a long time ago if it wasn't for this band. Thank you Nick Ursich (VOLUMES)!!!
Dude if you dont like the music then dont listen to it, If you come acrossed it then just move on cause noone here cares what your opinion is. we love this music just like you love your jesus music or whatever you call that shit. VOLUMES alllll day babyyyy
still cranking this years later! I remember playing a show with them in VA and Diego hooked me up with a t-shirt and we spoke guitar for a good 10 min... and said he liked my riffs he heard earlier...ill never forget that sh**** RIP Diego!
The recorded vocals are from their old guitarist/singer. He's now in a band called Challenger. The person in the video is Hance from Woe, Is Me since you all seemed so confused.
