I got to experience life like a local in the small town of Parismina, Costa Rica, while i volunteered with sea turtles. www.volunteerhq.org/ maximonivel.com/ www.parisminaturtles.org/
WOW. What more can I say? This is SO WELL DONE! You got great footage. You portrayed this trip perfectly! You got skills man! Can’t wait to watch your next video, whatever it may be!!
I absolutely love your videos, they are so well done. I'm so proud of you. Believe me that phone call to me was everything. ❤ plus these videos always make me cry. Every single time. So thankful you always find amazing people to travel with. 🙏
Thank you i really appreciate it! And thats awesome that you've done the same program and stayed in Parismina too! It was life changing for me and i had an incredible experience, i hope you did too! Pura Vida!
Wow i absolutely loved it! Great video. I’m actually doing my thesis on sea turtles and their protection and you showed me another organization so thank you so much ❤
Glad you enjoyed it and thought the video was helpful! And Thank you so much i really appreciate it! Going through IVHQ gave me a huge amount of respect for both the turtles and the organizations that help them 🤘🏻
I’m a year late, but I’m doing something very similar this summer. I’m curious about what kinds of clothes and how many I should bring? Any other tips would also be appreciated! Loved the vid btw
I highly recommend bringing thin clothing for hot weather, its very hot and humid in these parts of the world. My thin white long sleeve shirt was what i wore the most to protect me from the sun. One of my roommates there didnt wear a shirt for a day and got terrible blisters from the sun so plenty of protection is an absolute necessity 👍🏻 just bring whatever youre able to fit in a carry on and youll be perfectly fine! (Also bring plenty of bug spray, arguably even more important than the clothing lol) Have a great time on your trip and thanks so much for watching!
Thank you so much! 🍻 the bug nets over the beds were already there thanks to the family that owned the house we stayed in. But the net that i used with my jacket while on the beach, that one was just a sheet of net i brought with me. I only used it that once but i would have been miserable if i didnt have it at that time. Theyre only a few dollars so i definitely recommend bringing one if you have room for it in your luggage 👍🏻
