My Dad gave me his 1996 S90 when I blew my S-Type up. It had been standing for 4 years & like you, I put a battery on it & it fired straight up. It covered 20000 miles in a year & I only had to replace the heater matrix. Still the most comfortable car I've driven & it embarrased many a hot-hatch off the lights.
So glad you’re saving it! I have a 92 965 in the USA, these early 960’s are getting SO hard to find and come by! As long as the timing belt is serviced regularly, they’re pretty much unkillable!
Nice vid, thank you. I used to have the S90 version of this car, the saloon. I think it was a bit newer, P reg maybe. It had the same 3.0 24v engine. An absolute flyer. I loved that car
i have a 960 3.0, H reg. thirsty but been pretty decent for me so far. always has a few different things going wrong but none stop me driving (apart from currently the panhard bar falling off on the motorway, but that was probably my fault)
