Volvo D13 Engine Problems || Troubleshooting Volvo Engine Brake (VEB) on Volvo Truck FM 440

In Volvo Truck vehicles, there are additional brakes that are used to reduce the speed of the vehicle.
This additional brake is called Volvo Engine Brake (VEB).
Volvo Engine Brake (VEB) consists of 2 systems used, namely "Volvo Compression Brake" and "Exhaust Pressure Governor". Both systems work simultaneously.
"Volvo Compression Brake", the system is by leaking compression, while the "Exhaust Pressure Governor" system is by closing the exhaust gas path.
In Volvo FM 440, there is a problem related to "Volvo Engine Brake" as a result Volvo D13 engine experiences LOW POWER.
After checking, an error code is found on the diagnostic menu, which is "Volvo Compression Brake" and "EPG 1".
Next we use the "Volvo Diagnostic Codes Book" to solve the problem according to the error code displayed on the Instrument Panel.
