The Volvo FH540 10x4*6 with Palfinger PK135002 TEC7 crane of Transport & Lifting Twente from Rijssen (NL) is doing a quick demonstration of the crane on the yard. Complete report: www.ditzj.de/ht... Support me: www.ditzj.de/ht...
Yes but you almost never, in the real world, like a construction site, have unobstructed room for that wide ass outrigger spread. Its lack of a counterweight is why it needs that spread. Straight boom operator here, obviously.
Obviously, and that difference will probably always stay alive. Knucklebooms have their own strengths, like you can still carry a load (50 tons total in the Nethlerlands, so there is some capacity left). Also due to the 5-axled truck not being so light, the crane still has a good capacity even with narrower outriggers. And might even reach full capacity when there is a load on the flatbed. Those who know how to operate them, can do miracles with them.
@@Ditzj Agreed! They are amazing machines, and I find it very interesting how they how they can do so much, as compared to a straight boom rig, which I have 23,000 hours of operating time on.
Here is my report on it: www.ditzj.de/html/en/trucks/volvo/fh540tlt.html . So main boom outreach is 21,9 meters, 34,5 meter with jib and then 5,5 meter more with the MFA jib. So height is probably about 2 to 3 meters more than the outreach is.
where was the lifting o yes just bullshit video no barriers set out to keep peolpe away from the whole lorry just a look at crain and i been doing this kind of work for over 15 years so dont say i dont know some things about this kind of job
