In this video I show my DIY piston rod heater and how it allowed me to repair a machine shop mistake on the spot. It’s not economical to make this setup unless you build a lot of engines however.

Good eye catching that small but major failure ! Question thoe , are Volvo 's not a 4 bolt main block ??

I have not seen a correlation that Volvo Pinto engines use four bolt main blocks some do in some don’t

Does the 4.3 have same set up marks for the piston rods.
