So, ive just finished building this model myself, without this video as a constant source of reference and the hints and tips you provide during it, I wouldn’t have achieved the finish I now have on mine, this video has been such a useful tool and I did try some of your techniques, particularly using sharpies which is inspired!. I’m an experienced model maker myself and I’ve never thought to use those, I will definitely take that into my future builds!. I wanted to thank you for this video and wanted you to know how helpful it has been!. Many thanks again! 🙂👍🏻

Wow! What a beautiful build! Looks fantastic! I'd seen this in my local model shop and thought it looked good but until i saw your unboxing vid and the build, wasn't sure if i should get it. Having watched you, I don't think I would do it justice! Really impressive build mate, the decal job is amazing and your commentary is spot on. Anybody could follow you and use it as a guide to build their own kit. Thankyou for posting, really enjoyed watching. Have been catching up on your older video's too. Regards Bobby

Thanks mate, very kind. If I were you, I'd get something simpler and cheaper but similar to practice on. Maybe a Tamiya rally car, then try this one. I'm sure you'd do a great job

I’ve done the Nunu BTCC 1996 Audi, 1997 Volvo in Kelvin Burt’s livery and the Toyota Carina in 1994 . I’ll be doing the 1993 BTCC Carina Soon.

I'm interested in that Carina too, although I like it most in the Castrol livery which seems harder to find.

Super build. In the supertouring series, i love this s40, wanted to have a diecast model of it, but simply too expensive.. i would love to build this nunu kit somewhere in future. Nunu should consider bring Jason Plato’s green british racing Megane with the Nescafe livery..

They already did release the 1994 JTCC Coronas in the Toms and Cerumo racing teams. The only one they haven’t done is the Object T Corona from 1994.

Lovely work, probably one of your best, I’m currently building my one but being one of the 41 on the go it’s a bit slow :) roll cage is fiddly I agree and I’ll take another look at the chassis as I thought it was semi gloss black as well although I’ve not painted it yet. Shame the BTCC cars altered the following year so you can’t build that version from the kit unless lots of modifications are done. I’ll be using the front window sun tint strip but that’s me :) model on

Thanks very much, Sarah Jane. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Wow, 41 is a lot but I know everyone works differently. I struggle to do more than one at a time mainly because I run out of memory with all the video clips!! 😅

That is looking good Thomas. I got the Audi still in the box,but i will buy this Volvo also.Were those Volvo,s allways White as the maincolor from the body. When i see that Blue and Yellow,i think that Grey/silver from the Audi would go also very well as bodycolor. But those decals,there is no end comming on them,and that is still not my strongest thing.I may need a bucket of decal solution

Thank you, Jan. No, the S40 only ran this livery for one year before changing to silver and blue in 1998. I imagine someone will do those decals for this car or NUNU will release that version as well!

It looks really nice, you did a great job on this one! I'd like to get it but the amount of decals and getting them to set over the bodywork is pretty daunting to me.

Thanks, Nick. I got this for Christmas so it took me a while to feel confident with how the decals all went on. Softening solution helped so much though.
