I’ve noticed when I detail my own 2022 Volvo vV60 the car seems to lock and unlock when water and the wash mitt hit it. Also it has ability to open the boot when you swipe your foot under the bumper so when I stand at the back and put my let’s under the rear bumper to clean the roof the boot opens therefore nearly knocking me off my feet😂 Great video as always!

I must say that you are doing a really great job, and i think you have inspired many people to take care of their cars. Also me :) I have one request for you Is there any chance that you make a video or better talk video only about decontamination. Where you explain everything about this process. You know you can say about product, is it better to do this on wet or dry car or whether you need to wash the car with shampoo again after clay or just rinse it. I think many people would like this.

Thanks for the video. As a suggestion for your videos, show the parts where the paint has scratches, swirls etc, so the change will be seen after the corresponding polishing and even if you are not very talkative, if only put in letters at the end the whole process from the time the vehicle entered until its exit, so one becomes better acquainted with the detailer to the vehicle where you worked. Got a question washing technique wise. Felt counter intuitive for me to use an acidic descale as a foam only without handwash followed by a lightly alkaline AS. Don’t you feel like alkaline prewash followed by acidic contact wash is more effective in decontamination and water stain removal?

Good question. The car was recently washed and not dirty to begin with. That’s why I decided to start with Descale to remove some of the waterspots. I agree that an alkaline prewash is more effective when there is some real dirt to remove.

Can you reuse the mitt for ceramic coatings later on? I've heard that whatever applicator you use is one time use and has to be thrown away.

Yes it's one time use and the microfiber used for leveling the coating as well. I cut one corner from them letting me know not to use it on paint and demote them to dirty towels for wheel wells or engine bay.

Out of interest, why do you use descale as a pre-wash snow foam, rather than Lift or similar alkaline product known for 'touchless' cleaning capability?

Someone else asked this and it's actually a good question. The car was recently washed and not dirty to begin with. That’s why I decided to start with Descale to (hopefully) remove some of the water spots that were there. Starting with an alkaline pre-wash would be great if the car was dirty, but felt unnecessary for me this time.
