I didn't make a diy movie of an installation process because it took too much time and I finished at the night .. Anyway, let me present to you a solution of reversing camera using the original RTI screen.
- The control module is the user's work from the volvo forum: goo.gl/FeRkMf
- 170-degree reversing camera, ebay purchase
- Installation time: 3-4h
- Installation cost: $ 45
- Installation difficulty: 2/5, required soldering skills

I just registered to the forum but is very hard to understand the polish language :) Could you please point me to some information in english? I'm skilled with electronics, so not problem in soldering or flashing micros... thank you so much in advance and best regards from Spain!

hey, what kind of info do you need? Controler: As I find out he was inspired by some guy idea from sweden volvo forum. These are actually premade (by himself) boards with simple chips which are already programmed. Feel free to message him ( direct link to pm ): goo.gl/JEVurR

Thanks a lot for the reply, i will try to contact rafalekrav40... but... the RTI/TV function still is available with the backup camera installed or it is disabled?

Carlos Oslon de nada ;) rti is not working along with this mod but still it's simple as plug and play mod with an addition of 2 connectors only (you won't damage anything it's only a matter of unpluging excisting plug from rti screen).. so with proper soldering skills you should be able to make a hidden switch for choosing nav/cam source

@@gregor_b1 właśnie instaluję mój moduł w S60. Jak rozwiązałeś temat podpięcia wtyczki modułu? Wiązkę z przodu podpiąłem pod radio a tą co idzie do kamery planuję pod światło pozycyjne. Jak Ty to podpinałeś?
