Volvo Trucks new I-Shift with Crawler Gears, an automated manual transmission that provides dependable startabillity for extreme loads, up 220,000 lbs with component approval. www.volvotrucks.us
Had my truck since 250 miles 2020 model was given to me as a company driver. 7 months ago I bought the truck with 381,000 mi on it I would have been a fool to let another driver buy this truck out from underneath me. All these years one roadside breakdown. I've had little things go wrong that can be fixed overnight when I'm off duty but nothing major. Been driving for almost 10 years now Best truck I've ever had. Edit: I forgot to mention I'm usually at 90-95000 lbs everyday.
I drove automatic Volvos for about a year, At first kept reaching for the shifter , LOL , In city traffic and the snow and backing up was great . Yes the newer autos are even better than the first ones and much less fatigue driving .....I still think the 10 speeds or whatever are still cheapest to work on . .🇺🇸
Hello, tell the I Shift gearboxes from Volvo, and their engine and electronics components, whether it could work well on large tractors, such as the k-700 t 150, or the I Shift gearbox could provide gear changes on time and if possible because the heavy tractor has a heavy load and does not have a roller coaster speed like a truck on the sidewalk ?
I-shift will be better for the wheel holders and nightmare for the professional drivers.... Also I-shift mean less actions for the drivers and more accidents because drowsy drivers !!!
BS it's been shown to have less fatigue over the work day with the technology and comfort of modern trucks. Go back to your mechanical diesel, twin stick and solid mount seat, cab and spring ride rears 👌👌👌👌😂
