madcityy I’m not a truck driver but I have a similar job, I’m an Uber driver I can easily be on the road for 12 hours. You find time as with anything in life if you really want it.

John Bleckler , my younger brother is a otr flatbed driver too, he's a big strong guy but he told me tarping loads and eating processed food was slowly killing him. On his home time now he stacks up on all organic fruits and vegetables and a decent selection of high-end survival meals and snacks so he can avoid all the crap in the truck stops, he hasn't lost any weight but has thinned out and his strength has almost doubled. He was telling me that he has enough energy to workout for a hour before he drives and works out when his drive clock runs out now.

If I had to do it all over k owing what I know today , I would have a hard time doing it. This is no where near trucking in this video.

+robert4you uk law has a maximum length which includes cab & trailer, so companies want maximum trailer capacity which means our cabs are small, only have room for a single bunk directly behind the drivers seat. i think US law has a maximum trailer length but the cab is not included.
