Hello! Thanks very much for watching and thanks for the comment - always appreciated.👍 First up on the Volvo front is correcting the retaining spring omission on this video - REMEMBER TO REFIT THOSE SPRINGS FOLKS! 😬 Can’t believe I edited that footage out! The rear pads are definitely on the radar at some point in the future - at the moment they are good though. Cheers once again - all the best! 👍
I can see the retaining spring was installed. You can see it through the wheel rim, but you forgot to remind folks to put it back. Just a small observation, overall a great video.
You’re absolutely correct!! I’m horrified - I may have cut it out in the edit. I’ll try and get it rectified if I can as it’s a crucial component to fit! The springs as you correctly pointed out were fitted. Thank you very much for watching - hugely appreciated. And thank you for pointing out my omission. All comments appreciated - especially when they have something to bring to the party! Thanks once again. All the best! 👍
Hello! Thanks for watching - very much appreciated! 👍 I’ll be doing a rear brake video for the XC60 in the next few weeks. There is a plastic (yes really!!) jacking point in front of the rear wheels. This is to lift with a trolley jack and adaptor. Don’t be tempted to try and lift it without the adaptor - you’ll crush the plastic. I’ll try and put a picture of the jacking point on my community page. The adaptor is the same one as in the video for the front brakes. All the best! 👍
