This Volvo front bumper is fairly routine (EXCEPT) for the locking pegs located under the grill and headlights. This video will show how to unlock it, hopefully before something gets broke in the removal process.
I’ve just replaced a headlight on my XC90. This video helped a lot to understand where the bumper fits/screws are. I’m in Moscow. This is a clear proof how RU-vid helps people all around the world. BTW there are no other vids on XC90 of 2020 and later about the bumper removal. Yea I understand that most Volvos are repaired at service centers (like Apple)

hmm, not sure about that. We only do OEM replacement repairs so that’s not something I would encounter. It might be worth a try though, but those Volvo parts are expensive.
How does the flair trim work? My wife got a new 2023 7 days ago and already took out the trim 😅😅😅. 230 miles. The part comes painted OEM for 161 bucks i just want to me know how to install and remove before i break something
I don’t have one in front of me, but,‘Customarily’… there will be three 1”tabs on the backside of the flare that pop into cut-out slots in the bumper. And usually the molding will have several studs that pop in to plastic barrel type clips in the fender. The flare can usually be prayed off with an upholstery type pry tool, or some type of plastic trim tool. Since the old flare is bad anyway, you can use it as a tool of discovery and learn how to reattach the new one. Also, when you get your new flare, you will be able to tell just by looking at it, how it is attached. There may also be 2-3 redundant clips/screws, fastening it inside the wheel well. Good luck!
