Mountainman, I hear you brother, I’m kinda in the same boat... just an iddy biddy bit further along..,, I can kinda make my own music now. Crap combated to Justin here, but don’t get discouraged, just keep on trying man. For 18 months I was so bad, I used to get embarrassed trying to play, to myself, in a room, by myself, with the door closed and no one on the house. At 24 months I started playing my music to my wife.., apparently I didn’t suck so much. 4 year down the track I play for whom ever I choose. I’ll never be a pro, I’ll never be in Justin’s league, but I’m happy with my music and so are those I play for, even if it’s mostly friends and family. The journey’s the good bit. Justin is fine inspiration, but you shouldn’t judge your level by him. I’m 55, I’ve been mad on all sorts of guitar music since I was in single digits, Justin J has got to be one of the top 10 musicians I’ve Ever heard... and brother, I’ve heard thousands. Man I sure can crap on when I get going. Hope you’re still playing, and getting better. TimC
