I recently received this Voopeak TC22 game camera to review. I deployed it into the Alaskan wilderness for a month and during that time it was exposed to rain, mist, fog and snow. It functioned properly without any problems or leaks. This solar powered camera does not take any standard batteries, rather it is only powered by its solar panel and internal lithium battery. When I deployed it in the field, I placed it in a location that did not receive great direct sunlight and it was deployed during the shortened days of the Alaskan fall. That said, it functioned day and night without any issues. Finally, I feel confidant saying this game camera took some of the highest quality game camera footage I have ever seen on a game camera.

Thank you. I’ve only had it one season and I would say the pic and video quality is the best I’ve seen. I am curious to see how it does, in terms of durability over the next few seasons.

@@Damano1000 I will make a follow up, I probably have video from last year that I haven’t put together (it’s on a drive that was corrupted). Additionally, I have the camera in the field now, in a remote location, because I don’t have to worry about adding batteries. The follow up videos will be posted on my other RU-vid channel, Alaska Trail Camera. I’m passionate about Trail cameras, but they don’t do very well on my Raised in Alaska channel, so I thought I would put them on their own channel.

Does the solar panel and battery work well in the cold? Some cameras resort to using the batteries you have to buy and replace. I live in Michigan so it's always cold.

When I pulled the camera there had been a couple weeks of temps in the 20’s F, but it hadn’t been really cold.
