When the class 33s were retired from the Worcester - Voorbaai line they used for a short period class 34s (GE U26C) between Voorbaai and Karringmelk and class 35s (GE U15C) between Worcester and Karringmelk. At Karringmelk where the trains crossed they would then swop the locos to return to their respective depots again. On 1 March 2013 I chased the train from Albertinia to Niekerkshek.
