Rather good. It often takes a while for harsh vocals to grow on me. With Mike turning to the dark side, now might be the time to suggest Ategnatos by ELUVEITIE ("El-vay-tee") again. Epic Celtic folk metal with beauty and the beast vocals.

So far my fave song of theirs is "Chokehold". No screaming, and they don't over-post-process his vocals. So much emotion and vocal control -- love it.

So the vocals remind me of Deafheaven, and the softer parts are like Loathe. This is a darken/shoegaze style of a song

This isn't a song I would've suggested you to check out. They only have 1 other song like this called Gods. Definitely recommend Bloodsport (from the room below) by them though. It's the most beautiful song I've ever heard.

I figured this one was a wee bit screamo for Mike when I first heard it. I like their heavy instrumentals but Vessel’s deathcore screams don’t do it for me. I love their other stuff.

I see Tom’s made an appearance. This style of music is hit or miss for me. The death metal screams do nothing for me. The singing voice is good and I like the background instrumentals. Just not a fan of those heavy guitars. A worthy share regardless.
