Do really respect this video cos it really gave a satellite view for beginners in this field thanks!! I just have a qn : Is there any method to randomly generate polygons with different number of vertices (say 5 to 100 vertices polygons) and create a map out of it? Thanks in advance for your reply.
That's an interesting question. While I don't know the answer, I can tell you that Voronoi diagrams are not good for controlling the number of vertices or edges, both of which are happenstance in that they are determined by the interplay of multiple areas and seeds.
Thanks! You're right, actually. It was for a coding bootcamp I did where they stopped letting people give talks for a particular project, so I made this video. I've considered making a more polished version, but this one seems like it's doing fine.
The part at the end in which I describe the implementation refers to "cells" and "sections", which is slightly confusing because I was using my own terminology from code. "Cells" are whole squares and "sections" are the triangular sub-parts of those cells, 8 per cell. Hope that helps. BTW, the game title has change from Manhattan Edge to Voronoi Voyager and is nearly complete. Gameplay video is up on VoronoiVoyager.com
i dont mean to be offtopic but does anybody know a tool to get back into an Instagram account..? I somehow lost my password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me.
@Kace Cannon Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site on google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
