Vortex Aerator Upgrade -- ADDING ADDITIONAL AIR LIFT 

To help increase the tangential velocity, I decided to add an extra air lift 180 degrees across from the original air lift. Adding this additional air lift helps with maintaining particulate suspension by increasing the tangential velocity of the vortex all around. With this there is less particulate settling and thus less chance for anaerobic decomposition which equates to more aerobic decomposition. With less settling of particulates, I can increase the time between having to drain out the settled particulates and return them to the vortex. #composting #aquaponicsystem #aquaponics #diyprojects
