It’s pretty decent, the 6X really adds capability to the setup. The glass isn’t as good as an EoTech magnifier but it’s more that adequate for what it’s used for. The mount isn’t as well made as the EoTech one either, occasionally it won’t quite centre the reticle when flipped into place. It’s still useable, just a little annoying when it does it.

I maintain that the micro 6x is better than the g45 5x, especially when the vortex is paired with the vortex. The g33 is superior to the micro 3x, but I don’t believe most people would notice enough to justify the difference in price unless they found a good deal, say on an EOtech HHS hybrid combo

It’s doing alright. Glass isn’t as good as an EoTech, but it’s still more than usable. The factory mount didn’t always centre the magnifier either, again still useable, just annoying.

@Range23 gotcha. I read on reddit that other people had issues with the mount and they fixed it within the year. They should send you an updated mount if you contact them.

@@andrewdelvalle4622 I’ve heard similar, but not tried a newer one yet. Been tuning mine in an Unity FTC mount and that’s been solid

It’s mounted at the front of the receiver but not on the handguard rail. That usually give enough space for magnifier etc to comfortably fit behind it

Nah, I don’t shoot there, far too dangerous. It’s just a good place to film optics, plenty of contrasting landscape and objects at good distance intervals too.

Yes. I’d say the vortex reticle is a little ‘fuzzier’ than the eotech’s, but there’s not much too it

More so than the 3X but that’s to be expected. It’s still quite useable though, and the 6X adds a LOT more capability at range

It’s notably better than the eotexh G45 5x, and there’s a synergy between the UH-1 and the micro 6x that doesn’t exist between any EOtech and the g45. I’ve used and owned XPS2’s and EXPS 3-2’s and 3-4’s. Vortex talks a lot about their entire optic systems being optimized front to back and having synergy with each other, and while the G33 (EOtech 3x) looks good through an EXPS3-whatever OR a UH-1? The UH-1 through their micro 6x has a clarity and aesthetic beauty that the g45 just doesn’t have. Love EOtech’s, and any exps +g33 will make you happy. The UH-1 through the micro 6x though ? It’s the closest thing I’ve ever seen to the proper execution of the idea that “we’ll take the 1x and the 6x only from an LPVO, and make them both way better without having to waste resources in the 2-5x” I’m aware this isn’t how it actually works , but frankly the 1x dominates any lpvo 1x (to be expected), and then the real surprise; the 6x is on par or better with whatever LPVO you wana compare it to. Maybe you like the reticle better in one, but the glass clarity and eyebox size / field of view is downright amazing for a 6x flip down magnifier.

@@victordogeman the 6X is a decent enough magnifier but the G33 is very obviously a better quality magnifier, in terms of build quality and optical performance, it’s just (obviously) lacking the magnification of the 6X

I own both as well, and I feel the synergy between the UH1 and micro 6x is completely dominant over the exps3 and g45
