Xiaolin Showdown is better than this. The orignial voice actors Grey DeLisle-Griffin, Jeff Bennett, Tom Kenny, Jason Marsden etc. But this is full of Canadian-American voice actors like Jennifer Hale, Eric Bauza, David Kaye, and Michael Donovan. Including Tara Strong which is from the original series. And the same creator Christy Hui. Even the Shen Gon Wu names have changed! Overall, Xiaolin Showdown is totally better than this modern show from the 2010s.
Ping Pong I thought looked too much like Omi. They should have made him look more original. Or bring in Jermaine if they need another member. Or even let Jack join. The original show showed he had potential to be good. Why not let him be evil in the beginning and cycle through candidates till they allow Jack to joint as a 5th or even 6th member. Chase here was way too forward evil. With Chase he was more of the scheming and methodical planner. He would fight the monks but only when it would interfere with his plans or directly harm him. Also this sort of destroys the development he had at the end where we saw his good that still existed in him. If there was a continuation, Chase and Jack becoming good would be nice to see. The bad side also growing stronger and more shifty would also be nice to see. Hannibal cooking up some trouble and Wuya regaining her former power. Even adding a new evil into the mix would have been nice.
