Hey Everyone, In this Video I have Vostok Neptune SE 960763 teal color, with surprise. You can see the link for the watch below: meranom.com/en... Thanks for watching, please like, comment, subscribe!
Thats incredibly good for a Vostok, mine is losing around 40s, but it's brand new, so i will give it some break period until the movement runs smoother.
Dang that's a gorgeous Vostok! It reminds me of the newer Omega Seamaster with the Blue/Silver-Grey wave dial, which is like 5 grand. I absolutely love a textured raised pattern watch dial. This is truly a nice watch. And I love how the deployant clasp is nice and thick, possibly whole milled instead of thin die-formed sheet stainless. The dome crystal, the polishing, basically everything except the no-action bezel, I'm very impressed with. Now I want one lol. Lovely watch, thanks for sharing!
I bought brand new Seiko SRPD75K1 from official Seiko store in my town. After two days it stopped working. Took it back and they took three days to fix it themselves. Fourth day i receive a call and the jewelry shop manager informed me that the mechanism inside my watch could not be repaired in their shop and the watch needs to go back to factory. So he asked me was I willing to wait for a new watch or do I want my money back or some other watch in that price category. It just shows that Seiko isn't what it used to be.
Sometimes you definitely get a "lemon" of a watch. With any brand, even high end brands sometimes have issues. I guess it comes down to how the seller/manufacturer dealt with it after the fact. I think what the shop manager offered you was fair.
@@watchawatch2193 I agree, it was fair, and I took SRPE77K1, no issues so far. Apart from that I do own a lot of Vostok watches. I regulated few myself and I cannot be more happy with result. Most have around +6/7 per day, so that's more than acceptable in my book. Now when I see how beautiful your dial is, I am hooked... :)
I really like that watch but not too sure about the end links. I have 1 amphibian and 2 komandirskies and I like being able to switch the straps and bracelets. I think I can make a exception for this one though 🤔 Meranom only has 1 green Neptune right now.
Great review, I have for sure come to love these watches as I see them more and more. Quick question, mind if I ask what your wrist size is? as mine is 6" and I am worried it might be too big. Thanks!
My wrist is 6" and I simply adjusted the original Vostok bracelet down to my size. But I have about a dozen straps (bracelet, NATO, silicone) to swap around as I see fit.
I have the green model with the date not the special edition but oh boy it is difficult to turn the bezel. It feels like it's jammed but it does turn with a great deal of force but it's not something I would want to use everyday its way too stiff for that. I really don't want to return it because it would cost a great deal of money and the watch just isn't worth it, it's just something I shall have to put up with and hope it loosens up. When you buy a Vostok you have to be prepared for problems because build quality and QC isn't the best by a long way.
Very unlucky mate. I've had 20 watches from meranom....the only issue I've ever had is a tiny amount of hand misalignment....and so little as to not notice. I feel for you. Generally Meranom are outstanding....but everyone can eventually miss something.
Thanks mate. Meranom did handle it well I think, I have no issues with them. I think jist a little qa issue in Chistopol. Plus I did not want to send it all the way back for this minor issue.
So little as to not notice and yet you did ?the problem here is if you scrutinise a watch in close up detail you are sure to see something even with high end watches seen a lot of people complaining about misaligned bezels etc so if you too close dont be surprised if you seen an issue
@@watchawatch2193 I have Amphibia case models, 090916, 100815, 670927, 170863, and the Komandirskie 650541. I have modded all of these watches except for model 170863, and I usually wear the Komandirskie most of the time. Greetings from Miami, Florida. 👋
Unfortunately it is as all other Vostoks, no click, free-spin. The bezel is stiff enough and does not accidentally slip though. Another good thing is that you can always perfectly align the bezel )) couple of my Seikos are driving me nuts with misaligned bezel.
@@watchawatch2193 seiko's quality control is a shit show, vostok takes the win in my opinion despite the bad luck you had. I like this model specially for the lack of date and beautiful color, although I am hesitant since I don't see any actual improvement that justifies double the price of the usual amphibia line. Thank you for answering!
Oh! So that's how to open a cardboard box! These videos are just so damn informative! Please, save us from pointless unboxing video, and start with real content instead of pointless filler. ( You do a great job on the parts that are not meaningless)
