I love martial art! I take taekwondo and used to take karate and now I want to learn Vovinam! I'm Vietnamese so it makes sense right? We use to go there annually to do some type of competition or belt promotion I don’t remember. I definitely remember that Anthony dude though .. he was a light blue or blue belt back than. It was hard being in Vovinam because I was one of the few non Vietnamese fellers .. haha
No... the US lost because of the politicians and the media.. After doing IMMENSE research.. probably more than 75% of the US veterans would go back to fight again...
Vovinam was based in South Vietnam during the war... and many of the students fought against the communists. After the war the Grandmaster of Vovinam was imprisoned by the communist gov for 13 years.
No, highest belt is white, level of grand master and founder of Vovinam. Red is rank of master, yellow is instructor rank. Vovinam, Viet Vo Dao ranks star with Blue (Vovinam)/Black (Viet vo dao), next is yellow, then red and final is white. White belt is current no longer valid since the last grand master pass away and the title grand master is removed until some one can reach that level again. Nowaday, there are more color between basic colors.
i have been to that class there training sick i have better training then that class. all they do there is just play. their belt testing is so easy to pass you dont even have to do anything and you still can pass. they make vovinam look bad
