I had a thought: could the block on the Ruinous effagy transmutation sphere be used to speed up the final boss of spire of the watcher, they took away the ability for winters wrath to activate them all, but if you tapped the block close enough, couldn't it activate them?
Some quick Questions. How do you do the eager skates at the begging, is it a macro or skill. Was this before the titan nerf,and if so how bad is the nerf. Why were you able to pause the time after caretaker
@@crespito9286 The eager skate at the beginning is called a ground line. This was set before the storm nade nerf. 1 floor is considerably harder now, did testing earlier with this team and we got it twice out of 30 attempts. The timer pauses are to eliminate hardware advantage between teams because of loads. There's another timer pause because xp calculation during certain encounters delays the raid from progressing. Sum of best is around 16:40 so it could be quite a bit faster but I think 17:0x is around the human limit. The insane grenade regen was a combination of firepower, into the light, heart of inmost light, and feel the flames from verity's brow.
in the beginning, you have sword out, then swap swap and are able to eager again for another skate. How does that work? It should be on cd and not procc eager. Im confused, can you explain?
Definitely doable on both but harder to execute on controller, it's just a timing thing. Having enhanced eager edge helps with controller so you have a bigger window to execute. For the timing just say "one two three" out loud as fast as you can and thats roughly the timing for heavy attack->jump->shatter/well. You have to do each input in a row and a *small* gap of time in between each.
There is time for transitions which occurs during the encounter because of people on skip. Look at Crow’s POV in the description. He does first encounter to third skip
It’s a retroactive cp that activates when all 6 people go there. Since there are 2 people skipping, we wouldn’t be able to hit it otherwise to progress the raid
hoil (recharge boost from abilities being used) into the light (grenade recharge and damage boost while not affected by pervading darkness) bolstering detonation and bomber (grenade damage gives class ability energy and bomber gives grenade energy on class ability being used) and veritys (i think 10x grenade recharge from feel the flames x5)
There are two timer pauses implemented in this run as part of the speedrun.com rules for the Vow of the Disciple raid. These pauses exist in order to eliminate hardware advantages between teams running the raid. In between Caretaker and Exhibition, the timer is paused so that players with slow load times will not be penalized when they rejoin. In between Exhibition and Rhulk, the timer is paused again due to a reward processing bug that prevents the starting of the Rhulk encounter until his cocoon spawns in, a timing that the team running cannot control.
you went out of bounds so i’m not going to count this in my books. try speed running like a real person and don’t use glitches to do all the work for you, but keep going around spewing that this is a “world record” to all your cheater friends.
No one gives a shit about "your books". Speed running as a genre has its own guidelines, and these guys would have followed all of them in order to properly secure the record
