I do think Kyo is right though since it’s pretty much a synonym of ‘combination’ or ‘juxtaposition’. It probably sounds weird because ‘I need to use a different conjunction’ is not a phrase you’ll come across in your everyday life, but looks grammatical at least. But I ain’t gonna get into pragmatics, English isn’t my first language lmao

Y Vox, al oír "conjunction", pensó en la connotación de "categoría gramatical" de dicha palabra. De ahí la confusión: Kyo estaba hablando de probar otra *combinación de acciones*, mientras que Vox eataba entendió que iba a usar otra palabra con una función gramatical similar; lo que, en el contexto del juego y lo que Kyo estaba hablando, sonaba fuera de lugar e irrelevante. De ahí pasaron a tener un riña sobre si la palabra "conjunction" se puede usar como sinónimo de "combinación" o si debe relegarse para describir sólo a la categoría gramatical. Espero que haberlo aclarado un poco.
In conjunction is more like the word "together". "I need to try x and y in conjunction" vs. "I need to try x and y together". You wouldn't say "I need to try a different together."
