Make a longer video showing the wire installation side please! I understand every vehicle is different but anything is better than nothing. Other than that, this video is great 👍🏾
Nice product! Bracket is innovative. Your definitely skewed on 30 minute install time. Skipped over the routing of the wire through the seat and routing it under carpet through center console or floor panels and attaching power.
If you don't have a rear entertainment system already or if your built-in entertainment system is broken or gone wrong or if you have a large SUV or a van and your passengers are sitting in the very back, then that would be just the thing to not get your passengers bored.
Don't care for all the control and limitations, a good 12" 4K resolution tablet can be had for under $300 with a tablet holder for $20 where all of the internet/ tv packages are available.
This system was designed specifically for vehicle use where a tablet fails to meet a wide range of source content like DVD for people who still have them, HDMI for people you want their own favorite game system (PlayStation, XBox...etc), media playback through USB/SD...in addition to the main feature of downloading your favorite apps and streaming them directly in. Content can be shared between monitors in either direction as well which is something a tablet cannot offer, not to mention other tablet drawbacks such as the lack of remote control (infants and toddlers who cannot operate a tablet) or the unsightly wires need to keep a tablet powered for long drives. $20 tablet docks are also flimsy plastic mounts and mount to the vehicle headrests posts or strap on which becomes a safety risk. Using tablets in a vehicle is certainly an option but not a safe turn key solution that was designed to look like it rolled off the vehicle assembly line or meet the varying consumer use case needs.
Hi! Is there a way to convert the power to use a cigarette lighter? I got the monitors installed but having trouble getting rear trim off to get power. But there was an East cigarette lighter accessible
Android wireless casting (Mirrorlink) is supported but we have found that most content is now restricted by the app providers where they prevent the wireless transference of protected content. However, the system does include the ability to download your favorite apps and stream directly to each monitor in the system so wireless casting of content from your smartphone or tablet is not needed. If for any reason you do have content on your phone that you wish to display on the system monitors, you can also connect you smart device to the HDMI input (an HDMI adapter for your device would be required).
The system has a composite Audio/Video output. Your vehicles in dash radio would need to support Audio/Video input. If your question is about feeding content from you in dash radio to the system monitors, there is no need since the system monitors support DVD, Streaming directly into the monitors USB/SD media play back and more. You can also share content between system monitors in either direction.

Hi where can one get the equipment you installed?? An do you have any recommendations for installing it. I stay out in Riverside CA and Fort Lauderdale FL ???
I want to know, can you stream or play different videos from the control unit (android stereo system) using your app to separate unit in the back... Or is it one system at a time?
Was that a Ram 1500 you installed in? I just bought the Vic system from Crutchfield in hopes of installing myself (I have some experience in car electronics). However I couldn’t fish the cable through the seat alongside the headrest sleeve. I have a 2019 ram 1500 limited (the seat is powered with heaters and cooling vents). When I tried to get the wire in it seems like it hits something about 2 inches down and I can’t get the wire past that. Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks!
Can you use Bluetooth headphones? I’m thinking of installing 4 of these monitors in my Navigator (2 in second row and 2 in 3rd row). My concern is that by using the IR headphones, there is only 2 channels. Will the third row pick up the audio from the second row (vice versa) if they are both on channel A but watching different content?
Hi! You can use our dealer locator to find an installer near you! www.voxxelectronics.com/find-dealer/ Or contact us for more information! www.voxxelectronics.com/contact-us/ Hope this helps!
so i just tried running that cable through the headrest sleeve, i couldn't do it, since i have seat covers on it i just ram the cable through the seat cover. maybe show us how exactly di you run that cable through the outside of the sleeve.
Looks like a neat kit, I wonder how much it costs…. *looks it up* Holy sh*t! Why not just buy a couple iPads or Samsung Tablets and mount those? Plus they have battery and possibly cell service. To think installation cost for some would be additional to the $1500 price tag I saw on it.
I would like to know how much is this system and where do I purchase it at? I tried to purchase it from your website, but was unable to do so. Thank you...
Charging? How do you charge these? Also is there a way to remove them to bring them inside to download movies on Netflix Disney etc? Mine seem to have 8gb storage. I downloaded a few Disney movies (3.8Gb) and it said ran out of storage space. How do I get more? Thanks! Looking forward to using these!!
I have these installed in my 2021 Tahoe. One of the screens was interrupted by my 4 year old during a software update. Now that secondary monitor screen will not turn on. The two buttons on the front are glowing solid blue. I’ve tried restarting the vehicle which did not resolve the issue. I’ve also tried unplugging the power cord from that monitor with no change. Lastly, I tried pressing the small RESET button until the two front buttons flash red and blue. The buttons return to solid blue after a few seconds still with no change. How do I fix the secondary monitor? I suspect the firmware is hosed since the install did not complete. Please help! These screens are awesome and we can’t live without them.
Hi I have model SB10M1 and SB10MD1 that i just got installed today I noticed when I play a DVD and when it is in Dual Mirror mode, the 2nd monitor is blurry. I asked the people who installed it and they said it is normal. Can you confirm this for me please?
@@voxxelectronics if my head unit in the front is a 12.1 inch screen with android operating system and my vehicle has wifi . Can I stream whatever is on my 12.1 screen to your two headrest screens. This is a show truck. The idea is whatever RU-vid video I play… Plays on all three screens at once without many steps to do so.
Via HDMI on the non DVD screen. If you have dual DVD then no it will not work. Here is the dealers for this model in Louisiana Mike’s Audio 225-292-4986; Mobile-One Auto Sound 504-888-4922
You can add 4 monitors (2 systems) but you can only watch the same content on each paired system, not all 4. You can control all 4 from the VoxxLink app.
@@voxxelectronics hello my email is onetimejohnny@gmail.com I have the usb hooked inside the monitor, I can adb into the OS, there is no recovery to backup rom, when in adb reboot recovery I get no command, thank you for the help
The system monitors can share content between themselves and there is an A/V output to export content to another monitor such as an In-Dash head unit. There would be no need to play content from and In-dash head unit and send it to the system monitors. This system is loaded with every conceivable input to playback content including a DVD Player for the Old school tech crowd with the main feature being that each monitor has built in Android operating systems to stream direct from your favorite apps.
One more question..is there a way to quick release these so nobody steals them...I know.. quick release means easy for dirtbags to steal too. I just want to have a fighting chance.
@@voxxelectronics all the units I see have the ones that mount on the headrest rod. Cam you send me a link for the ones that come with this style mount please?

Reality is streaming Netflix on the go with mobile plans is expensive and coverage is always sporadic. Is it possible to use SD card as a location for storing Netflix downloadable videos?
Read my Question correctly first before forming your opinion @@ny2bama - Is it possible to use SD card as a location for storing Netflix downloadable videos?
The system monitors have 8GB of built-in memory (each monitor) to store Netflix/Amazon Prime Video content. Keep in mind that the length of time that these apps allow the storage and playback of their downloadable content varies and is at the digression of the app, not our system.

Hey guys, I installed the system shortly after at Audio Planet, they did a great job and just now I updated the system almost 2 years in and I didn't realize the system updated one update at a time, but I called customer service and they were great as well. I called, they answered within minutes and helped me with the issue so quick by explaining I had to keep updating until it was fully up to date. Sure enough they were right, the next time I ran the update it was done and I was good to go! Great service and product I love it and highly recommend!!
