You are amazing Voxy! love your vibes! You are so talented and i love that you show that women belong in MTG. Means a lot. Watching you in your element is truly inspiring.
Her last dozen videos on youtube are Hearthstone gameplay. I don't blame her, though. Her Hearthstone content gets 10x more views than her MTG content.
I like the interview but it was a bit distracting not having the questions and only hearing her answers as it wasn't always immediately clear what the question was.
"Gaming is cruel for women"...what?! No it's not. It's cruel to everyone. It's just a fact, that in certain games online, you need to have elephant's skin or you need to be as ruthless as they are. Women in gaming, generally play because they want others to enjoy the game with. But that's not online gaming culture, especially not competitive ones. Is it a bad thing? Heck yes. But we should not make it a gender issue. For each insult thrown at a women in gaming, there are 30 thrown at a guy. We should generally fight against toxicity in our life, and should call it out.
@@Janshevik Pretty sure Voxy is neither. So your claim is pretty much already null. And like most strategy games, it's male dominated (aside from match 3), so...your point? Not to mention, that you reply with something that was never the topic of my comment. Next time at least read what you "reply" to.
Stfu dude. The gaming community is cruel af towards women. There are lots of misogyny. And when it's not misogyny it's guys hitting up on the girl all the time. Idk how she puts up with it. If you don't see it that's because you're not affected. Ridiculous comment
@@hil449 Playing online for ~20 years....yeah...no, it's not. I'd argue I personally even got more toxicity my way than my any of my female companions I play/ed with. Aside from personal experience...everyone experiences toxicity, because anonymity online is a thing, not only do people hide behind it, but you can generally not tell if someone is male or female on the receiving end. But hey, prove me wrong.
