Thank you for posting these. Looks like somebody taped them on VHS back in the day - and knowing the BBC they have probably junked the originals by now, so things like this are increasingly crucial to preserve.
Thank you, yes I recorded them on VHS in 1986. Having later worked in video editing, and meeting a few tv producers, I can assure you that they live only for the next project. Once something is broadcast they move on, as for the BBC. I would be surprised if they wiped the tapes, but I bet they are slowly degrading in a forgotten warehouse somewhere.
