We were just there like 2 weeks ago. Darryl was super nice and fun. We stayed at the Reef in a 2 bedroom topaz suite. It was amazing. Have you gone to BahaMar? We checked out of Atlantis after 6 days and went to BahaMar which was amazing as well and their water park had a soft opening. Great video.
Thank you!! We were JUST talking about when (if ever) would we try BahaMar. We just love Atlantis so much, it really feels like home. We'll have to try them, though. That Rosewood looks crazy!!
@@guitarsinger1231 3 areas are open - lazy river which has a cool tidal wave, an area with kiddie slides and the splash area with bucket drop and 4 body slides. The Mega slides aren't open yet, those open July.
@@Khujeaux definitely stay at BahaMar. We switched over for my 40th birthday to have a more luxury adult feel and it was perfect. The soft opening of the Waterpark made it awesome since the kids got to continue the fun. We stayed in a 2 bedroom beach villa which came with a butler and private lounge, it was really nice!!
@@asarjoo I definitely want to go once the water park opens. I think on July 2nd. I make do a weekend trip just to hit the park. It looks dope! We'll all have to go back and do a REAL stay. I'll definitely keep the villas in mind!
When you applied for the travel visa did you have to do separate one for you’re daughter once you added her to you’re profile? I’m a little confused when I add a trip it ask who’s going and you can only choose one person? Or once you choose the adult it will also do the children?? We arrive to the Bahamas on Tuesday should I get a covid test on Thursday or Friday?
Once you add/linkthe child to an adult's profile and it shows all the check marks/completions for them under the adult, then that's it. That should separate from adding other adult travelers. Schedule your test for Friday. Also, make sure you retest at the resort no more than 3 days prior to arrival back in US (if US-based)
Awesome!! Thanks so much for this video! I'm looking forward to part II! Our trip is a little less then a month away now! Your restaurant video was so extremely helpful! What are your thoughts on the meal plan that they offer at the resort? Worth it or no? It'll be my husband, me, and our 12 y/o daughter and 10 y/o son.
We never tried the meal plan because it never felt worth it, plus alcoholic, bottle, and can drinks are not included. I'll say that our total at checkout was a little under $900 (5 nights). For the meal plan for the same amount of time it would be $1400. For you guys, it would be like $2100 (12 yr old is an adult).
@@Khujeaux holy moly! Yeah that's crazy! We'll just stick to no meal plan lol. I'm definitely planning on bringing plenty of snacks! That's a great idea!
