The only other time I had bear boxes was on mount Mitchell in NC. I like them a lot for storage.

Good looking campsite. I might have to check out this Loon Bay sometime. I’ve camped somewhere in Voyageurs when I was a kid with my folks.

Your video is a nice discovery. Question: do power-boaters use Rainy Lake in Voyageur?
@LoneCrowAdventures
@LoneCrowAdventures 3 года назад
Yes they do! In the first video in this series you can see them zooming by. Many houseboats too oddly enough.

@@LoneCrowAdventures thank you. I couldn’t get to the rest of your videos; lunch break was over. I am looking for lake chains, connected by portages, that eliminate powered water craft. That is why I asked. Thank you again.

Can someone help me out. I don't understand how you find and book these sites. How do you plan a canoe trip into this National Park
@LoneCrowAdventures
@LoneCrowAdventures 2 года назад
We had to book online. Then they sent you your reservation sticker by email only a few days before your trips. It was on recreation.gov I think 🤔

Was it easy to get stuff in and out of the bear boxes? I've never used one.
@LoneCrowAdventures
@LoneCrowAdventures 5 лет назад
Yes, they opened and closed easily and the latches were secure but easy to operate. Thanks for asking.
@nuclearoutdoorscampingtips5850
I do guide work and take people on these trips to get them started....I had a kid bitching at me on skinning a cat fish when he could not even catch one!!!!
