I'm a black female chicagoan and in the last month I know three senior citizens who are losing their housing due to the skyrocketing cost of housing. Two men and one woman. One senior male is 84. He was able to afford the increase and chose to stay. His rent increased another $800. The female at 67 is on the street after losing her housing. She can't find housing bc of the migrants. The housing is much to expensive. The last male is 76, and losing his apartment after his rent was increased $1,600. He's moving in with family. Both men hate Trump. The woman is a Trump supporter. She's a former co- worker i'm helping to locate housing. People had better pay attention because this is only going to get worse if another administration doesn't come in to stop this

Then why are think it and havdone it already. They all in neighborhoods when I was going up, then things change and we got little upperitty made us feel like we need better quality of goods not knowing the people open>no shops in our community were purchasing the same identical merchants, but we fault goods were a better grade because wasn't I our shops it was sold to us a cheaper, but had but marked up to bring down toward the price to sale. I grew up in the 70's and early 80's. EVERY corner store in the neighborhood was BLACK OWNED. You can ask Anyone over 60. Starting in the late 80's they've begun to either lose or sell these stores. I don't know why

I went to Clark in the 80s and there were definitely other ethnicities enrolled at the AU Center on scholarships because they were non black and enrolled at the HBCU. I say that to say this, one can attend an HBCU and be classified as non black. Also, attending an HBCU does not determine a person’s ethnicity.

I agree; and since you asked with such wisdom, I was informed that if you did not pledge to a sorority that you could not attend advanced courses that would make your courses worthwhile. They were referring to HBCUs although I don’t doubt that applies to all colleges. That even have sororities at religious colleges so remember that when your “leadership” requires a degree from people who do things at your church or why there are denominations. A lot of people don’t know the reason you see many non- black students at HBCU’s. There is no his thing called a minority scholarship. At HBCU’s, non-blacks get a free ride”Affirmative action “ for them, they’re the minority at such institutions.

I listened to the NABJ Q&A. Donald Trump was respectful and he answered all of the questions asked of him. He gave them an hr of his time, but they were 35 minutes late, so they shorted themselves of 25 minutes that they could have been questioning him. He called them on that too.
