VP185 Class 43 HST cold start 

East Midlands class 43 HST Powercar 43069 with a cold (40 degrees) start.
The VP185 engine is a V12 turbocharged unit which replaced the original Paxman Valenta engine.
Only the East Midlands HST powercar a have this power plant, the rest of the fleet with other operators have MTU V16 R4000 engines fitted.
Regardless of the power unit, they are all rated at 2250bhp and are a joy to drive.
