I remember when I was 11 I had to get an MRI done on my ankle and I was so scared! Looking back on it, it wasn’t really bad lol

In 2014 I was sent for an MRI scan of my brain. Unfortunately I was too big to fit in the machine! The head coil I was given didn’t look anything like the ones I’ve seen online; it was a kind of metal mask placed over my face with an attached mirror at eye level. Ever heard of things like that?

I used to have MRI scans around 6-7 years old and it would take FOREVER. I also wanted to open my eyes sometimes to see what it was like but I was too scared lol

Yeah I remember when I got my first MRI, was aight. Was pretty bored and kinda tripping out from when the machine was doing the scans. Was like: "This is fine- Just chillin in a big ass tube magnet that's trying to find my pea sized brain-"

I went through that a few times one time was when i was in the pediatric ICU with pancreatitis and i had just gotten some pain meds it was morphine and i nearly fell asleep
