You laugh at the financials, but they showed a 30% increase in revenue while the YOY Q1 spending was about the same. That shows GROWTH (which is news); yet you just blew if off with a laugh
Funnily enough I mentioned this but edited it out, you’re. It wrong but I thought does a single data point really say anything it doesn’t highlight a trend, could be an anomaly or an influence from Xmas intake I don’t know. My giggle was more about it not being a cause to celebrate which I stand by until next quarter stats
Yeah, I think keeping the App Lab but just having it in a clearly visible dedicated tab, or maybe have an Early Access tab like on Seam, would be a nice balance.
Duh!!!!! What good are these Spatial framework/programs in Meta if we don't have any Apple products????? I have a Quest 3, few PC computers, and an Android phone. I already have original Mud Runner from STEAM and played it a little bit with my Oculus Rift S. I don't think my version was VR ready - maybe through VORPX app on my PC. Kind of a slow boring off road ventures and driving through mud, water, and various bad terrain. Better to play the game with a Wheel controller which I have to do other racing games. Thanks for the video. Take care.
Hi mate don't have X sent more messages and info on FB about Spec Ops Task Force Knight. Which is a Military Simulated Tactical Shooter made designed and by ex British Military and tested by a select group of Serving Military and Veterans.
Use sketchupVR quite a lot. And I'm curious about MudrunnerVR, loved snowrunner, playing mudrunner currently and the VR option is a nice surprise for me.
The ASUS headset could feature a custom router for highend wireless streaming (ASUS makes good highend routers), or include a Displayport plugin. Both things Meta isn't willing to do as a first party solution, but would be ok with ASUS doing. I fully expect the ASUS headset to cost $1000
Lenovo’s ThinkVision 27 has 3D display and eye tracking. I wonder if they’re considering making a headset-less productivity experience leveraging Horizon OS.
tbh do not do multiplayer games so do not care for contractors at all, and app lab...yeh loads of free games 99% are not worth the download lol i totally regret getting the meta quest 3 tbh. wish i could return it lol. i had the quest 2 but with so little proper real games coming out i ended up just going on it to play paint ball in rec room which is fantastic and while i do not usually do multiplayer games....i turn my mic off and mute everyone but that game still works and can play as a team member still. sold the quest 2 a year ago and waited till maybe 2 month ago and caved in and got the quest 3 as a few and i mean a few more top AAA games had been released.. wish i had not bothered...Assassin's creed really is crap it just does not feel like a special kind of VR game like it should and the battle and fighting is very badly done, Arizona sunshine 2 they could have done more with the game which just feels boring as hell....it has very little substance not to mention bad melee system and AI for the dog who often for me would vanish into thin air for me to realise the dog had continued through a fully shut door to another section i have not even gone too yet...a checkpoint section so the dog should not be able to go there till have have been there, or it would go missing when i have hordes of zombies even when called it. Asguards wrath 2 i did not bother with after 10 mins as its not my type of game. and i found myself only going on the headset for painball again. PCVR is no better for big AAA games either its all small indie crap ..and i do mean CRAP. Yeh you get the odd good game which often is good for 20 mins of gaming but the rest is god awful i think now after all these years... I can actually see now that VR will never be big like normal gaming on a console or PC is....never which means we will not be getting loads of polished AAA games like we would have done by now if VR was really going anywhere. And i say after all these years because when the vive was originally released i drove a 80 mile round trip just to try it out and my mind was blown so ordered it, had the original rift, rift s, quest 2 and 3. I can see me selling my Quest 3 soon while i can get a bit back for it, think i will get what i paid for the headset alone but the battery kiwi strap etc will be given for free really
Thanks Steve. I still only have a Quest 1 that I haven't used in ages - but you've made me want to dust it off and get gaming again! Have a great week.
@@SteveKnows Hmm, you made it out as if it's a boring walking simulator where you can't shoot thousands of Aliens, like Alien Colonial Marines. Just had to make sure you were not committing treason by insulting a 10/10 game. We'd be lucky to get an alien isolation 2
4:04 Interestingly enough, this could allow Meta to truly focus on a gaming headset, while allowing others to the some work/ development for them. Sharing OS means they still get a piece of not only the $pie but also the tech inside those. (soon to be developed and released headsets) Very interesting for sure. 🐀
@@VRRatif it was still owned by Oculus. But since Meta bought it they been pushing their VR into mixed reality. To change how we interact with technology. Zuckerberg isn't interested in purely VR gaming device.
Why do I get a notification everytime you upload? I don't have the bell on🤔 Don't get me wrong I love your Videos and watch basically every one of them but when I see a new notification I think someone commented on my videos or subscribed...
