So glad you finally got to try this. It's not quite zbrush, but modeling in vr is a one of a kind experience.

Nice! Yes, the Oculus just have a single a single button. Medium is kinda the gold standard for VR sculpting IMHO (though... I'm behind so there may be newer ones). I thought there were some texture brushes, but again... been a while.

Great to see you exploring Medium. I run it on my Quest, tethered to the PC but I usually just make lumpy potatoes. Lol. The lighting adjustments were really cool as you could adjust it all in real time. Great to see you harnessing the power of that Dell setup! Did you try exporting the model and letting the Saturn solidify it?

I'm not sure about the available sculpting apps, but an Oculus quest 2 is only $300, and self contained.

Try Gravity Sketch, that's more for hard surface modelling but pretty powerful. Also there is Quill, which is more for painting in 3d but you can make amazing animations with it really easily and still make 3d object's, I just don't think they'll be nice solid meshes if you wanted to 3d print them or anything. Oh and of course there's Tilt Brush which I'm sure you've heard of, that's strictly for painting really but can be fun. Theres one made by Google like Tiltbrish was which uses blocks for sculpting, think its called Google Blocks but not sure. There are a few others but the names have completely gone out of my head right now.

Jaza has done a good video or two on this. Try the program he uses cause in it you can make your own brushes. Also transfer it to a 3d printer! I hope to see more good videos and models.
