I cant lie, its all pretty accurate.. I died when the dude asked if they needed an avatar. Legit, anytime I've joined a VRC Discord, I get added by AT LEAST 10 of these schmucks, ask if I need an avi made, and then when I question their validity they _(attempt to)_ gaslight me into some sort of an evil person for distrusting their _"credentials"_ I have since learned how to retexture and edit Avatars for myself - I still basically have no idea what I'm doing, but honestly, I'm having fun learning as I go :)

Yeah my financial situation makes me immune because I literally don't have any money to pay for avatars so scammers who would try to fleece me for all my money and then not give me an avatar have nothing to gain because I don't have any money for them to snipe out of me

Mood. Hell, I'm new to vrchat and the moment I got access to uploading my own avatars I just immediately grabbed a prefab i had my eyes on, loaded up unity, and haphazardly kinda just.. did it myself. been slowly learning how to add on more things, and My current roadblock has been.. figuring out how to add and make togglable accessories

As a VRChat player for more than 2 years you have to make friends and depending on how much friends you have your become a VRChat creator that means that you are able to make and publish your creations on VRChat because you were unlocked the SDK version of the file section that used VRChat to make characters and your online account that has a preview of your VRChat account and you were able to see were your friends are on your page before starting the VRChat game. Then you status changed to a trusted user. More status changes if you create and send content to VRChat.

@@ThorinWolf From my experience, the average time required is at least 100 hours (though it can vary greatly) 30 friends isn't that many (by vrchat standards, where it's 'add friends, figure out if you like them later'), and how actively you are with them is also said to play a role. And only public avatars you have uploaded seem to affect your role, as well as how popular they are. If you get blocked, kicked, unfriended, etc. often, that can also lower your chances of getting a ranking boost.

Yeah.. I started with the Uganda Knuckles and Kanna Gang memes all over the place. It was much simpler and since it was PC only, no one judged your setup. Everyone just had fun.

I hate that damn game… I strayed too far from the sun haven’t I… I remember when the game was fun but it seemed like every time I would wind up finding those odd people with those NSFW avatars with a god complex or worse actual criminals. The games moderation is BS. There is much more I could talk about but I’d rather make a video myself on that than write a super long comment.

there will be a new valve vr headset. we're not sure what its going to be, but ive heard that people have a devkit in their hands, but ultimately, its going to be released in valve time. it could be this year, it could be next year, though i doubt its going to be longer than a year

Last thing… if someone is gonna get my payment, I’m not sending it too early, and I’m not gonna make them feel uncomfortable sending their end early… First off, it needs true encryption. Not doing it without encryption. Secondly, do it like a transaction where the content is unlocked when you pay your share. But… maybe it should be a prepaid card in case there are unspecified repeats… just hope they don’t disallow that. But also, on second thought, why not search through reputable sources for a better shot?

If by true encryption you mean a green padlock, then I'm sorry to disappoint you, but that only guarantees that nobody in the middle can intercept your payment details. A fake payment website can have a green padlock and steal your credit card details.

I feel the the absolute worst trolls and crashers were the Known and Trusted Users. Yes, Visitors and New Users have a high percentage of them being not very nice, but those Known and Trusted know how to get past certain things in order to crash or ear ra"k"e or just be racist without repercussions

That guy who said he wasn’t gonna get a gaming PC is missing out… best investment I ever made, fastest computer I’ve ever owned. 2TB SSD, 32GB RAM, 8GB of NVIDIA GeForce 4060, and very fast download speeds. It has an i7 with 20 cores and 28 logical processors. The specs aren’t exactly the newest, but hey, at least I get 168FPS! Great circulation, too. The hottest my graphics card has ever gotten is 72°C, and that’s perfectly safe! I love playing games with high graphics. GeForce is awesome! And I got these specs for US$1,300. Not too bad! Many laptops have half the specs for twice the cash, and some PCs even have less specs for more cash. My monitor was US$300. AdobeRGB, 165hz refresh rate, 0.5ms reaction time, and an UltraWide display. I was skeptical about that at first, being used to flat… but hey, having such a big screen means I can have a tab in all four corners and be perfectly fine! And I’ve also been told, “32GB is far more ram than you need for gaming, you’d only need that if you want to develop things!” Yeah, exactly! I’ve worked with animation before, I considered EVERYTHING when purchasing this beast!

I’m the only quest user out of all of my friends so all I usually see is hotdogs base wolf avatars and other base stuff and always get that “oh go buy a gaming pc” I love the quest two and I’m broke so I’m happy where I am.
