Hopefully I can get footage of either option they choose mate 🤞🏼 They may end up going for the valve. If so I’ll be disconnected the pipe work and pulling the unit forward somehow to get in from the side 👍🏼👍🏼

@@RuthieG1 Yeah it’s a 1304 ! I changed one not so long back too. I’ve spoke to a few others and they seem to be struggling to get other Sanyo spares too. I’ve been told they’re obsolete now from Panasonic so may just be whatever the distributors have left in stock ! I couldn’t get an Inverter crankcase heater a while back either 🤦🏻‍♂️

@@furybear2003 Love Scotland 👌🏼 To be honest the normal way of getting into the trade would be to serve an apprenticeship with day release to college to get your City and Guilds NVQ in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. I know it’s hard if your a bit older though and looking for a career change. I’d start by approaching air conditioning companies and see if you can get your foot in the door as a trainee, hopefully you can get in somewhere and they can help with your training. You will be required to get the FGAS qualification too which can be sat in a week but don’t be fooled that this will make you into a HVAC engineer. Definitely try hitting up some local firms mate and try to get in as trainee/mate and work hard to quickly progress up the ladder 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

They always get a whack first mate 😂😂👍🏼👍🏼 Quite common on these units to be honest, not the nicest of jobs !
