Why are people saying he ignored her? He clearly wanted to race that's why he put hood on, they do this so as to reduce drag and make the car aerodynamic, if he led the hood off, the car wouldn't reach it's full potential in a race. You can even see him laughing, he was fully prepared.

he got annoyed at the revving, specially from the second rider. He then covers his ears and decides its not worth it and closes the car. Having been next to a bikes while my windows down gave me ringing for almost half an hour
