Great show again fellas, lots of good stuff to look forward to. It was bugging me about why Vendetta Forever was so familiar, then remembered an Applab game I played a long time ago called Bang Bang Slice which is this exact game!
Hey guys! Good show as always. Just wanted to congratulate the Flat2VR team for not only your milestones, but also for your incredible presence on the VR Games Showcase Livestream. As a company that was just starting off, i had fairly adjusted and realistic expectations about your potential partnerships. You guys far exceeded them. The VR industry has been going in circles over the last years (something that even the livestream reflected) and it's been so long since i've seen developers that knew exactly what they were doing. I really can't think of better games you could have realistically gotten, and knowing that they were just the tip of the iceberg is beyond surprising. I'm also really glad that the need for variety is also recognized. I'm a very cautious person, but i'm glad to say that i haven't been this excited for not only VR, but the gaming industry in general for years. A lot of people probably aren't familiar with flat indies or older titles, because the recognition that you guys have already started revolutionizing the industry would be more vocal. Best wishes and i'm super happy to watch your journey.
I'm really excited about what Flat2VR is going to bring us. I'm highly anticipating the release of Flatout. I can't wait to hear what else is coming down the pike.
I'm very happy with the first games from Flat2VR. Especially Flatout is a perfect choice for Psvr2 players, because we need more racing games. Now we have Sim and Arcade Racing. Wrath is very cool too. I just played Compound and I love those old-school shooters. Roboquest looks very interesting and has very good reviews. These 3 games I will buy for sure. Trombone could be fun, but I'm not sure. That's a great beginning! I'm very grateful. Flat2VR is a blessing for VR.
Vendetta forever is fantastic! I can't wait for the full release. I didn't notice that the weapons were randomised on each run. Really? The Axe is the best weapon for taking out the armoured guys.
Thanks for the great content! And congrats on the Flat2VR game launch, I think it shows a lot of range and promise and I’ll buy every single one ;) … ps. Dont sleep on Arktika.1, its in my personal top 3 (and one is HLA ;)
2:33:19 globular cluster absolutely does not reduce FOV. From my experience it makes it better, I had to have my vr2 sit further away bc of my prescription lenses, but now with Ol' Globby, I can have it sit closer than ever
Other than prescription lenses, Globular Cluster is the best upgrade you can get for the PSVR2. It helps it stay in place so you never have to adjust (even with a big, sweaty, meatball for a head). The different pads also help cause less pain in the forehead. If you have any of these issues, get one. It's totally worth.
@Wes, Inscryption is a horror themed, roguelike, deckbuilding card game, with escape room puzzles sprinkled in.. Once you get thru Act 1, the story and gameplay change up a bit. Act 2 would be difficult to bring to VR, compared to Acts 1 & 3, but still.. would be great to play in VR
I am thinking of getting a gaming laptop to do some vr with the psvr2 adapter , just older games that do not need a power house of a machine to run. One problem I have noticed is laptop does not have display port whi h is needed for psvr2 adapter. Do you know if there is a way around this before I spend money on a laptop? I need to know if I can connect it up. I would be new to pc vr so would be playing older stuff I missed last gen. Thanks.
I've said it once and I'll say it again. Hitman 1-3 are some of my favorite vr games of all time. Such a great detailed world to explore. Probably the most realized real to life locations to explore in VR. I would boost the steam supersampling up to 200% and turn the in game gfx up as far as they could go and the game can be breathtaking in some of the scenery. I'm happy quest users can get the chance to play the game.
As janky as it was i played hitman on psvr1 and enjoyed it. But it was frustrating the way it played. I'm very interested in the remake. Im looking forward to the reviews.
