Recently the drama from Friday Night MUGEN and Cheeky V3 has still been roaming around and MUGEN himself hasn’t been backing down for what he has done, going as far as copyrighting cheeky V3 and now on his case to take down V4, but all of the devs have gotten permission to use these characters previously since the alpha of cheeky V1, so I am safe to say that Cheeky V4 (or so Cheeky’s Revenge) is still well on its way and is going to be amazing when the full mod drops! (I have all of this knowledge through actually being in the Cheeky’s Revenge Dev server and from Friday Night MUGEN, so this is all a real case). Also it’s awesome that other characters from the MUGEN franchise got songs, and I’m very happy that the my favourite MUGEN “human” Man of Seven Shingles got top treatment!
recently he reasonned it out and i actually talked to him myself and he said the situation is because the cheeky dev team was saying bad stuff about him making people think he did it, he said its because he knows too much about them and they started making rumors of him and making alt accounts just to make him seem like a bad person, they apologized, ( i think ) and he said the situation is ok now but still many people still dont understand much about this situation ( like me ) but i do know the situation has calmed down , still a few people thinks hes an asshole tho
@@BUTTEREDC0RN_ Guess you haven’t seen enough of MUGEN and what’s he’s done to the cheeky and MUGEN community, I’ve seen way more than enough stuff being one of the main people in this time of trouble . Maybe you should read a bit on it and see what’s he’s actually been doing, Wizord made a pretty good video on what he has done as he’s 100% someone who knows the most about this incident
@@BUTTEREDC0RN_ I am IN the dev team and I know why and what the dev team was saying to MUGEN, he’s trying to make himself seem innocent for TONS of problems that he did, so you guys shouldn’t be thinking that MUGEN is the good person when he’s only continuing to make these matters worse
You shouldn't listen to word of mouth that mugen isn't in the wrong even though theres more evidence against him than defenses he has, he's a proven pathological liar who constantly stays in drama, how exactly is that "trustworthy" if you don't know the whole situation

the definition of a good mod what makes it better is: A: the creaters researched about mugen games, and used stuff directly from the source, instead of assuming things B: the creaters knew about mugen and thus they were able to create the perfect image of characters such as MO7S
I recently learned the mod got cancelled because it was too much stress for the team. Their discord server even got deleted as well. It's not the end for our boi Cheeky, there is the VS Chekit: Cheeky's Fangirl. A funny mod but better than nothing.
the way they portrayed MO7S as this creepy humanoid that can unhinge his jaw made me think of something kind of wacky, to say least You know how MO7S is holding an iron mace in his game's thumbnail, but is never shown in-game with it? You know how in the Qur’an, Angels were portrayed as guarding the gates of hell holding an iron mace? You know how MO7S spawns at first as an Angel, with halo and everything, but it instantly disappears once he actually moves? ….just saying this is an awesome mod btw, they definitely did my boy Shingles justice
@@SophisticatedArc wacky stuff right 'ere mate. I think it makes sense though, throughout the start of the game you're in this dark and depressing place, because you're in hell. But when you're at the end of the game, you're near the "gates of heaven" or smthn. I like to think Shingles repented for his sins and finally returned to his place

@@MANOFPUREMOSS The build I recorded on was the first ever build so Lumber steps was accessible straight away, but the new builds provided on the wiki page requires you to beat all of Cheeky’s week (so the 5 songs) to unlock the rest of the freeplay stuff (which includes lumber steps).
