I wish there was a sequel, it sucks to see this fun gameplay and good music just disappear and not come back for no reason. It's such an underrated title that should've at least been on the e-shop. Oh well.
It was re-imagined on the DS, but was nowhere as good as the first two. The kids were teens to young adults, and the art was adapted into traditional anime. That was how SBK died.
Its a shame that it died. This game had so much potential. Even if it wasn't a well known IP, the games overall gimmick was far more interesting than an average kart racing game.
Important fact: Thios song also played if you had normal races on the boss tracks, basically night / other daylight situation version of the normal tracks.
